A new web page on 9News maps all of the hit-and- run fatalities in Colorado since 2008, 132 in all.
The page is part of series of stories by 9News and Rocky Mountain PBS I-News on the hit-and-run epidemic in Colorado.
The interactive graphic allows viewers to click on locations and find the details including the names of the victims with photos where available and what happened to the cases.
The page also contains interactive maps of Denver, Aurora and Lakewood showing the locations of hit and run accidents involving injuries between 2011 and 2013. In the three cities, there was an average of one hit-and-run injury accident every day during that period.
Just in Denver, there were an average 17 hit-and-run reports, most involving property damage, every day.
